Statement
Jillian Rose is a painter exploring emotionality of the self through abstract line structures and bold colors realizing art as a spontaneous feminine and maternal process. Her work articulates the modern human condition through faces of the self and the other together in a non-sequential story line.
Jillian Rose creates introspection that deliberately stares back questioning the viewer who is also the creator, in that perspective is creation. Her works transformative nature allows the viewer’s experience to take on its own reality directing the focus on the viewer as well as the piece itself.
